Marshmallow's Journey

Welcome to the Marshmallow's Journey story section. This series was another spinoff in my pokémon fanfics featuring Jigglypuff and Eevee. It's got action, drama, and comedy. The series didn't last too long, but I had fun writing it with other members of the PokéWars. Please enjoy.

Puffs of Joy

Episode 1

Co-Authors: Adrian Tymes and Mobius 101

Marshmallow is a small, light pink, and cute Jigglypuff. Living with Clefairies inside of Mt. Moon, she has been waiting for the day she would get to venture into the world. Since she was born, she could only remember being raised by the Clefairies. She never knew where she was from exactly. Now, she waves good-bye to her foster Clefairy parents and heads down Mt. Moon into the world.
Not knowing where she was headed, she walked west towards Pewter City. As she walked, she saw other types of pokémon she had never seen in her life. A Rattata walked up to Marshmallow. It looked at her with curiosity. Marshmallow, having never met another pokémon other than the Clefairies, was very afraid. Rattata came closer and sniffed her. She jumped back in fear. Rattata was unsure whether its find was friendly or not and not wanting to pick a fight, went back to looking for food.
Marshmallow continued on her way towards Pewter City. She met another new pokémon on her way. This one was fatter than the purple rat she met earlier and had a goldish color to it. It was a cute, little Sandshrew. It looked very playful and immediately spied Marshmallow. She froze in terror as the enormous mouse-like pokémon rushed towards her. The covered her face as best she could with her little hands. The Sandshrew gave her a big lick on the face causing her to giggle. She looked at the friendly Sandshrew, blinked, then gave it a big hug. Sandshrew was so excite to have met a new friend that it didn’t notice the pokéball flying towards him.
Marshmallow saw it, but she couldn’t warn her new playmate in time. He was sucked into the ball while Marshmallow ran for her life. Tears filed her big eyes as she ducked into a bush. The trainer looked around for her but soon gave up. He ran off, happy with his latest catch. Marshmallow continued crying. She had lost her new best friend and had a first look at humans. She didn’t like them. She was afraid of them. Tears continued rolling down her cheeks. She wished the Clefairies had told her about humans before. She wished she could have stopped the trainer from taking her new friend away from her.
With her head help low, she continued walking slowly towards Pewter. She didn’t see any other trainers or pokémon on her way there until she got to a field just outside Pewter. She was still crying softly to herself. She looked around. No trainers were in the vicinity. Suddenly, she noticed the bushes moving around near her. She covered her face and hoped that whatever would emerge wouldn’t hurt her.
An Eevee cautiously came out of the bushes. It looked worried and small tears could be seen in its eyes. It saw Marshmallow and moved closer. Marshmallow looked up. She could see the fear in the Eevee’s eyes and felt sorry for it. She walked up to it and extended her hand. Eevee, sensing she was a friend, returned the gesture by extending its paw. Marshmallow had found a new friend. She asked the Eevee why it was sad. He told her that he had lost his trainer and wasn’t used to living on its own. They decided to stick together as they entered a dark Pewter City.
Only for a pair of hands to suddenly grab Marshmallow and stuff him into a strange tube!
  “PUUUUUFFFFFFFF!!!”
  “Got ‘im.”
“One shot for the Wigglytuff launcher. Where’d you say that Caterpie wave was?”
“Over that way. One shot oughta disperse it. Ready, aim, FIRE!”
  *FWOOSH* “PUUUUUuuuuu...”
The Eevee growled at the two humans for a moment, then ran after his new friend.
A few seconds later, in another corner of Pewter City...
  “...uuuuuUUUUUFFFFFFFF-“ *WHAM*
Seth and Aerie knew the sound of an incoming Wigglyweapon by heart, thanks to their training at Rocket Academy. Both of them dove for the ground instinctively, not even glancing at Marshmallow. Mimic was still on the ground, and Slasher’s life flash was only just now getting to the latter part of his kittenhood.
When the expected explosion failed to occur, Seth and Aerie looked up, to see a Jigglypuff embedded in an impression in the nearby cliff wall.
Aerie traced back along the line of fire, but no assailants presented themselves. Indeed, few people were even in sight; most of Pewter City was still taking cover from the Caterpies. “Who’s firing Jigglypuffs at us?”
“Must not be too professional, whoever it is.”
  “How do you know?”
“Jigglypuffs don’t always explode when they’re launched from Wigglytuff launchers. Given the velocity that was travelling at, I’d definitely say it was a relatively high-powered weapon...which means it was made for Wigglytuffs.”
Aerie smacked a fist into an open palm. “Whoever it is, I think someone needs to teach them a lesson about gun safety.” She stormed off, back the way Marshmallow had come from.
“Aerie...” Seth sighed; he knew what that voice probably meant. “They won’t learn anything if they’re dead.” He ran off to try to stop her.
Mimic, meanwhile, slid out from underneath Slasher and examined the Jigglypuff. It seemed to be stunned more than anything else, so, having nothing else to do - and implicitly having been designated the one to atch over Slasher until he came to his senses - he refomed into a dull- bladed Scyther, and tried to level Marshmallow out.
He did not quite suceed before the Eevee came bounding up. Seeing what looked like two other pokemon attacking his new friend, he growled, bristled his fur, and stuck his tail straight up...
...only to get a Jigglypuff to the nose when Mimic finally popped Marshmallow out.
Marshmallow regained consciousness and looked the Mimic and Eevee. Eevee was still rubbing his nose after being hit inthe face by Marshmallow.
She went over to him and asked him what had happened.
“Some humans took you and fired you out of some sort of cannon...,” Eevee told Marshmallow.
“Called Wigglytuff launcher,” interjected Mimic who was now in Ditto form.
“Who are you? Are you friendly?” Marshmallow asked Mimic. She was still a little shaken up by the launcher.
“Mimic friendly. Mimic help Jigglypuff. Jigglypuff have name?” Mimic asked.
“I’m called Marshmallow. I came from the mountains over there,” she pointed in the direction of Mt. Moon.
“Mimic see. Eevee is friend of Marshmallow?”
  “Umm... Yes.”
“Then Eevee and Marshmallow friends of Mimic.” *** SCENE SWITCH ***
Aerie was searching the city street ahead. When she found whoever had shot that Jigglypuff at them, she was going to make them pay. Then she felt a firm grip on her upper arm. She turned to strike, but quickly stopped upon seeing Seth.
  “Hey, not so tight!”
“Oh no. Just clear your mind and come on back with me.” Seth tilted his head at her with a knowing look. “I’m going to keep you from getting yourself in trouble until we reach Saffron.” He pulled her back step by step.
An evil smile crossed Aerie’s lips. “I wasn’t going to do anything.....”
“Yeah, right...” He watched her violet eyes suddenly dart past his shoulder. Seth turned around just in time to see a young woman in a long, silky, and flowing white dress with a pink sheen walk around the side of a building. She walked up to him, setting her blue eyes upon him with a smile.
“You’re new around here, aren’t you?” She greeted, brushing her short pink hair away from her face. Something about her made Seth think of the Joys, but she didn’t look related.
Then he remembered Aerie, and quickly turned back to her, feeling his blood quickening. Instead of what he was expecting, he found a small violet Pikachu. “Err...” He reached down and scooped her up in his arms. “Yeah, I’m not from around here...you could say I’m just passing through,” Seth said, managing a smile.
“I see.” She glanced at Aerie. “A purple Pikachu? How unusual! You didn’t pick that up at Pokemon Island by any chance did you? I hear they have such amazing color variations there...” She reached out to pat Aerie between the ears.
“NO!” Seth pulled the Pikachu away. “Umm, sorry, but you know how Pikachu can be......I don’t want you to get thundershocked,” He chuckled nervously.
“Ah, thanks. By the way, there’s something I think I should tell you.”
“What’s that?” Seth asked, shifting his hold on the Pikachu snuggling against his chest.
The woman looked kindly at him. “What you search so hard for is not far away. You carry the answers inside of you.”
Seth stared, standing there on the sidewalk carrying a violet Pikachu and listening to this woman speak in a language he couldn’t understand past the first two sentences. It was very dreamlike, then he realized she wasn’t really there.
  “Piiika?”
  “You saw her too?”
  “Chuu.”
“Hmm...” Pulling off his shades for a moment to get a look around, Seth turned all around. Up and down the block, there was no one there. “It just gets weirder and weirder.”
  “Piiikachu.”
“And what’s with the purple Pikachu thing anyway?” He grinned, slipping his shades back on.
  “Pika, pika,” Aerie replied.
“Actually, I think you stand out *more* that way,” He laughed. “Oh well, let’s go back and find Mimic and Slasher,” Seth said, giving Aerie a rub between the ears. He gave the area one last look. With something of a creepy feeling, he walked off.
As they reapproached the cliffside, Seth spotted Slasher first. Then he noticed that Slasher and Mimic had been joined by a Jigglypuff and an Eevee. Aerie’s ears twitched forward curiously. Seth tried to grab ahold of her, but she jumped out of his arms and dashed towards the others. Then she stopped.
  “Pikachu?”
Mimic transformed into another Pikachu in response. Before the others could react, they noticed Seth walk up. The Jigglypuff puffed out in fright and the Eevee began growling and threatening Seth.
“Whoa, calm down!” Seth put his hands out, attempting to put them at ease.
The Eevee would have none of it. [Human...]
“These two tell Mimic been mistreated by people. No trust people. Perhaps if Seth...” Mimic gestured to himself.
“Good idea.” In a blink, there were now three Pikachus - Aerie purple, Seth cyan, and Mimic yellow.
Eevee relaxed almost instantly. [You’re one of us.]
[*ALL* pokemon and people “one of us”!] It took Seth a second to realize this was the first time he saw Mimic frown. [No should fear all people, just because some bad. Fear lead anger. Anger lead hate. Hate lead pain. Pain lead suffering. No want make all suffer, do you?]
  [Well...no, I guess not.]
Mimic’s frown dissapeared like a mirage. Had it even been there? [Is ok, can even save life, fear sometimes. But no should distrust everyone.]
  [So, who are your friends?]
[This Seth, this Aerie.] Mimic pointed out each one in turn. [You have name?]
  [No.]
[Hmm...Marshmallow, may want give friend one.] Mimic gently scratched the scruff of Eevee’s neck. Unfortunately, having not handled the Pikachu’s natural electric current in a while, he accidentally let a bit slip into Eevee’s fur...not enough to hurt Eevee in the slightest, but enough to make Eevee’s fur turn into a giant puffball. [Oops...err, maybe name should be Puffy.] He smiled and chuckled, trying to pet Eevee’s fur back into shape.
[Thanks for helping me,] Marshmallow interjected as she continued to look around in wonder. [I’ve never been away from Mt. Moon before. I’d heard about those ‘launchers’, but I always thought they were just a fairy tale, told by Clefables to put young Clefairys to sleep.]
Aerie looked at the two briefly, as if judging something about them, then smiled. [If you’re that new to the world, maybe you should tag along with us. There’s lots of danger out there.]
Seth blinked, then whispered to Aerie, [Why are we inviting them?]
[Living shields. If something bad comes our way, we can just toss them out as bait and...] Her smile faded, and she looked at the ground. [I did it again, didn’t I?]
  [Afraid so.]
  [I can’t even tell what’s me and what’s...]
Seth hugged her without needing to hear more. He knew of one prescription for Aerie’s condition: plenty of love and support, to keep her from getting worse while they sought a cure.

Persian Express

Episode 2

While Seth comforted Aerie, Mimic sized up Pewter City ahead. Then he looked over at Slasher. He walked over on his little Pikachu feet. “Slasher biggest one here. And fast. Take all Pokemon across city in no time!”
Slasher stared down at the Ditto, slowly comprehending what he was being asked to do. “Oh no....what do I look like, a bus!?” He looked away. “And don’t think you can get me with one of your psychic Ditto tricks! I’m not falling for ‘em!”
Mimic closed his eyes and smiled pleasantly. “Mimic no make zombie out of Slasher...just transport! C’mon.....”
“No way. Nothing you could say could make me submit to such a humiliation!”
The Ditto chuckled quietly. “No?” His little beady Pikachu eyes opened in slits. “What if Mimic tell Seth alllll about how you get beat by little Rattata when Slasher was a Meowth?”
Slasher growled. “How do you....ARRGH!” His fur bristled. “Stupid Justin just got lucky, the dirty rat! Besides, you wouldn’t dare!”
Mimic gave Slasher a big innocent smile. “Mimic no feel is such a big deal....teach Seth lesson about how growing involves failure...and in some cases much failure...and more failure...and still more-“
“Enough!” Slasher hissed. “I’ll do it already!”
“Piikaa!” Mimic chuckled. “Such a kind Pokemon Slasher be!” He turned to the others. “Slasher will take across city!”
Seth looked up with a confused frown. “He will? Slasher??”
“Oh don’t rub it in. Let’s just get on with it already.” The Persian grumbled. Mimic climbed aboard first, taking Slasher’s black ears in his little yellow hands like handlebars. Slasher’s only protest was a low growl. Seth followed, pulling Aerie up behind him. The two of them helped Marshmallow up onto the Persian’s back. Eevee though, looked up uncertainly.
“Are you sure this is safe?”
“Sure Mimic is sure....though Mimic never hide a Persian before, but still...mostly sure.”
“You mean ‘ride’,” Seth interjected quietly.
“Whatever,” Mimic looked skyward. “Come now Eevee?”
“I think it’s okay, come on Eevee,” Marshmallow smiled.
“Well...if you say so.” Not wanting to be left behind, Eevee scrambled up Slasher’s back as well.
“Okay Slasher....go!” Mimic squeaked. Grumbling under his whiskers, Slasher started towards Pewter City at a lumbering gait. The people of Pewter gave curious glances as the Persian with three Pikachu, a Jigglypuff, and an Eevee on his back, streaked through the streets. A few considered trying to capture the strange assortment, but the Persian was too quick to keep up with. Some swore they heard the excited squeak of a Ditto, but none was in sight.

Rest Stop

Episode 3

Co-Authors: Adrian Tymes and Mobius101

Sometime later, they reached the woods beyond Pewter City. Once under the cover of the trees, Slasher stopped to let his passengers off. He only hoped that no one had gotten a good look at him in the city.
Looking up, Seth could see Mt. Moon looming in the distance. He scratched his furry ear. “Well, we’re back here again.”
Aerie followed his gaze and shuddered. “We’re not going through there are we? I don’t want to go there again...”
“May have to,” Seth stroked her back soothingly. “I’m sure those Mew are long gone by now though.”
“Maybe....” Aerie blinked. “But now that I think of it, maybe that wouldn’t be so bad. I never did get to *thank* them for hosting my stay there.”
Seth noted her tone of voice uneasily, but decided not to dwell on it. They would make it to Saffron....
Marshmallow bounced over. “Mt. Moon! I just came from there! But I don’t know anyone there named Mew.”
“Mew not seen, hide themselves better than Ditto,” Mimic nodded. “Continue now?”
Slasher lay on the ground and brushed at his whiskers. “Hold on a bit you guys, I want a breather here.”
“Cha, me too,” Seth gave his head a quick shake. “I’ve been stuck in this form too long, and my head is starting to feel funny.” Within seconds he was back in his default human form, sitting on the grass. Once the glow faded from him, Marshmallow and Eevee screeched in terror.
Seth turned startled wide emerald eyes on them. “Geez! You guys are just going to have to learn to accept the way I am, because staying in another form too long wrecks havok on my mind. I’m *not* going to hurt you, okay?”
Marshmallow looked nervous, and Eevee was still growling and bristling at Seth. “Humans are bad!” Seth saw Mimic shake his head in dismay in the corner of his vision.
The blue-haired youth gave an exasperated sigh. “Look.....do I smell human to you?”
Eevee paused at the strange question. Then he lifted his little nose to the air. He gave Seth a confused stare. “No....smell like Ditto.”
“Not quite, but close enough. In any case, does that make you feel any better?” Seth asked, noticing Aerie hop up and cling to his head. She seemed quite content to stay there.
“Pika,” She smiled, resting her head in Seth’s hair. He noticed that she didn’t seem to mind being out of her usual form during the extended period. Hmm.
Mimic, who had been watching, trotted up. “Dittos know perhaps better than most that can never judge by appearance.”
Marshmallow looked over at Eevee. “Jiggly...”
  “I don’t know...”
Mimic sighed, and exchanged a look with Aerie. In mere seconds, three humans surrounded Eevee where there had been only one human and two Pikachus.
  “EEEEEEVEEEEEE!”
Seth noticed the growing panic on Eevee’s face. “Umm, guys, I don’t think that’s...”
With a giggle, Mimic transformed into a row of can-can dancers, arms linked and all heads looking at Eevee.
  “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“Jiggly? Puff?” Marshmallow tried stroking Eevee’s fur, but it stubbornly stuck out, making Eevee look more like a puffball or a porcupine than an Eevee.
Seth rolled his eyes, and began probing Eevee’s mind.
  #Help...#
#It’s ok. There’s nothing to be afraid of.#
  #Humanshumanshumanslotsofhumansevilevilevilthey’regoingtohurtmeandmy friendshelphelphelp...#
  #Enough!#
Out of nowhere, Aerie reached forward and smacked Eevee to the ground. Her violet eyes which had been warm a moment before were now dull and cold. Seth grabbed her wrist.
  “Aerie, stop! It’s just scared!”
“But it’s so irritating! Let me hurt it Seth!” Seth frowned and Aerie looked away realizing what she’d said. “I’m sorry.”
Eevee and Marshmallow were trembling and stunned. Seth looked over at them, putting an arm around Aerie. “You have to excuse her, she’s not well......that’s why we’re going to Saffron, to get her help.”
Marshmallow blinked large blue eyes. “I see...she’s sick?”
  “Yes, something like that.”
Mimic’s can-can dancers remerged and transformed into a Ponyta. “Should keep going.” With a whiney, he picked up both Marshmallow and Eevee in his teeth, flinging them onto his back. The two little Pokemon panicked momentarily at the flames, but quickly calmed when they weren’t burned. Mimic trotted off.
Seth helped Aerie to her feet. “Yeah, can’t waste anymore time. C’mon Slash!”
In the shade of some bushes, Slasher peered out at them. With a groan, he pushed himself to his paws and padded after them.
Just beyond the next bend was the most commonly used passage into Mt. Moon. Seth increased his pace. For him, Mt. Moon was filled with bad memories, but something about the mysterious cave still held him in a kind of boyish excitement of the unknown.
Eevee whispered to Marshmallow. “These Dittos, or whatever they are, are really starting to scare me. Do you think we could go a different way perhaps?”
Marshmallow was having similar thoughts. Not wanting to be a burden on Mimic, Seth, and Aerie, she politely told them that they were going to head back towards Pewter. “Me and Eevee are going to do some adventuring on our own. Good luck getting to Saffron.”
The three Dittos and one persian said goodbye and continued to Mt. Moon. Marshmallow and Eevee began heading back towards Pewter City.

Marshmallow Returns

Episode 4

Marshmallow and Fluff, her Eevee friend, had been having fun outside Pewter City. Since they parted ways with the group of Dittos, they had only encountered two trainers. They seemed not to notice the two stray pokémon, so they headed back to Pewter City.

”C’mon, no one’s out this late at night. We can go right through the city without anyone noticing us.” Fluff wasn’t too keen on her plan but thought it better Pewter than Mt. Moon. He stayed close to her. The city was still lit up a bit, but no one was out on the streets. Marshmallow walked casually down the main road. She stopped when a bright light hit her. “Jiggly?!?”
“Hey, shouldn’t you pokémon be with your trainers? Pokémon shouldn’t be wandering around late at night.” Fluff was terrified and his fur puffed up.
  “Marshmallow, do something!”
“Ok.” She produced a mic in her hand and prepared to sing.”
  “Uh huh...”
“Jigglypuff, jigglypuff...” she sang. Jenny’s eyes began to close as she dropped her flashlight. Then, she collapsed, along with Fluff. “PUFF!!!” She smacked Jenny’s face and dragged Fluff the rest of the way out of Pewter. She took Jenny’s flashlight before leaving. “I might want this later.” She shined it into Fluff’s eyes, waking him.
“Huh? Aghh!!! Oh, it you... Is she gone?” Marshmallow nodded and they camped out near the Pewter side of the Viridian Forest. Many adventures wait for our two cute pokémon, but this one ends here. Tune in next time!

Someone New

Episode 5

Co-Author: Pikachee

Shayna and Charmander are still looking for a way out of the forest, they better make it out soon!
  “Charmander char.” Charmander complained.
“I know Charmander. We’re almost to Pewter City. At least that’s what my map says.” Shayna said reassuringly.
  “Char char.” Charmander said.
  “Hey you!” a voice yelled.
  “Who? Me?” Shayna said.
“Yeah. You with the Charmander. Let’s battle!” the voice said.
“Okay. Send your Pokemon out first!” Shayna said.
“Right. I choose Squirtle!” the boy yelled. (They could see him now.)
“Then I’ll use... Venonat! Go!” Shayna said.
“Okay. Squirtle tackle it!” the boy said.
“Before it can reach you use your stun spore!” Shayna said.
“Veno nat!” Venonat said as it shook stun spore onto the Squirtle paralyzing it.
“Squirtle return!” The boy yelled whipping out a Pokeball and recalling Squirtle. “Try this! Go... geodude!” The boy said.
  “Geeoo!” Geodude said.
“Venonat use the poison powder!” Shayna ordered.
“Venno!” Venonat said spaying poison powder toward geodude.
“Geodude dodge it and use the tackle attack!” the boy ordered.
“Geo! Dude!” Geodude said tackling Venonat.
  “Veno!” Venonat said injured.
“Venonat hang in there and use the Psybeam attack!” Shayna said.
“Veno!” Venonat said jumping into the air and Psybeaming Geodude.
“Geodude you can make it!” the boy said looking at his stunned Geodude. “Geodude, put it out of the fight with a mega punch!” the boy said.
“Geeeo DUDE!” Geodude said punching Venonat very hardly.
“Veno naat.” Venoat said before it fainted.
“Oh no! Venonat return!” Shayna said as her pokeball recalled Venonat.
  “Go Charmander!” Shayna ordered.
  “Char.” Charmander said.
“Charmander, since Geodude is weak use FireSpin.... full blast!” Shayna ordered.
“Char man DER!!!!” Charmander said as a huge flame came out and covered geodude. Whe the flame was out Geodude had fainted.
“No! I lost!” the boy screamed.
“Yeah! I won!” Shayna said. “Oh, by the way, do you know where Pewter City is?”
“Yeah. right over that hill.” the boy said sulking all the way down the road. After he left Shayna hurried to Pewter City. Straight to the Pokemon Center, that is.
She ran so quickly she didn’t seem to notice the Jigglypuff and Eevee following her.
“Marshmallow, why are we following this trainer?”
“Because. I bored and sitting in the forest all day and night is getting old. Maybe we can go adventuring with her. She doesn’t look like an evil trainer.” Fluff wasn’t so easily swayed.
“I don’t like trainers. I won’t ever like them again. Not after mine abandoned me.”
“Fluff... She isn’t YOUR trainer. She has her own pokemon. I think she’s nice. And even if she isn’t, we can have the fun of beating her at her own game. OK?”
“Ahhh... fine... But she better not try capturing us.”
“Don’t worry. I’ll never let that happen. Never.” Marshmallow produced a small tear in her eye as she remembered her first friend. She could never let someone do that to her again.
Marshmallow and Fluff snuck into the pokécenter and began searching for where the girl they saw earlier was staying. After searching through the halls, they found her room and snuck in. “Let’s just wait in here for when she wakes up,” Marshmallow whispered to Fluff. She yawned. “Ahhhh... I’m a little tired myself... let’s take a quick nap before she wakes...” They both instantly fell asleep. Shayna yawned as she woke up in her room at the Pokemon Center. Thats when she noticed she had visitors. An Eevee and a Jigglypuff were sleeping in her room. She figured she better not disturb them and tiptoed over to Charmander shaking him slightly to wake him up. “It’s time to go. We have to go to the gym today just don’t disturb our guests. Oh are they friends of yours??” Shayla asked.
“Char mander char.” Charmander said shaking his head.
“Okay. Well let’s go. We might as well get breakfast and check the town out before we go to the gym.” Shayna said. Just then the Jigglypuff stirred. “Shh...” Shayna said.
  “Charmander mander char.” Charmander whispered.
“We’ll see if they’re still here when we get back.” Shayna said.
  “Char.” Charmander said.
As they walked around Pewter CIty Shayna noticed a Pokémart. “Let’s check the Pokémart out.” Shayna said walking inside.
“Char char.” Charmander said following her. As they looked around Shayna saw that the store was having a special. You could buy a Pokemon! There were Eevees, Meowths, Squirtles, Pikachus, Bulbasaurs, and Sandshrews.
“Well I have enough for two. I’m getting a Squirtle for the gym and a Meowth because they are sooo cute!” Shayna said taking the Pokeballs.
  “Char char.” Charmander said insulted.
“Your soooo cute too.” Shayna said hugging Charmander.
  “Char.” Charmander said forgiving Shayna.
“Can I help you?” the clerk asked.
“Yes I would like these two Pokemon.” Shayna said placing the Pokéballs on the desk.
“Alright that’ll be 2000 Pokecoins.” the clerk said. “Wow.” Shayna said handing out the coins. “Now I only have 5000 left!” She said sighing.
“Char char.” Charmander said. They found the gym on the map and walked into the gym.
“Who goes there?” a voice asked.
“I am Shayna from Viridian City. I’ve come to challenge you to a match for a badge.” Shayna said.
“Alright. Two Pokemon each. No Items no time limit.” the boy said.
  “Agreed.” Shayna said.
“Alright. By the way, I’m Brock (He was back at his gym for awhile.)” Brock said. “I choose... Geodude!” Brock said.
“Then I choose Charmander!” Shayna said.
“Char!” Charmander said running into battle.
“Charmander flamethrower!” Shayna ordered her Charmander.
“Man DER!” Charmander said flaming geodude till’ he was coal black.
“Geo.” Geodude said weak but not defeated.
“Geodude use the rock throw!” Brock ordered Geodude.
“Geo!” Geodude said throwing three big rocks at charmander. But charmander dodged them easily and waited for it’s master to say it’s next attack.
“Charmander fire spin. Finish it off!” Shayna said.
“Char!” Charmander said forming a swirl of fire over Geodude. When it had ended Geodude had fainted.
“Geodude return!” Brock said whipping out his Pokeball and recalling geodude.
“This time I choose onix!” Brock said throwing down a Pokeball a huge Onix emerged from the small pokeball.
“Alright! Charmander return.” She said and Charmander ran back to her side. “I choose... Squirtle!” Shayna said.
“Squirtle!” Squirtle said emerging from his Pokeball.
“Squirtle weaken it with a water gun!” Shayna ordered her squirtle.
“Squirtle!” Squirtle said spraying water out of it’s mouth and on to Onix.
“Onix tackle it!” Brock ordered. Onix’s tackle connected with Squirtle. Squirtle was hurt but he was still ready to fight.
“Squirtle finish it!” Shayna said pointing to the weakened Onix, “Bubblebeam!”
“Squiirt!” Squirtle said as bubbles came out of it’s mouth and hit onix, fainting it.
“Onix! Return.” Brock said. “You are very strong you have earned a Boulder badge.” he said handing her the badge.
“Thankyou.” Shayna said. “Goodbye!” she said as she and Charmander walked out of the gym. They headed to their room at the Pokemon Center. Jigglypuff and Eevee were sitting there waiting for her. “Hi little Jigglypuff and Eevee. What are you two doing here?” she asked. “You talk to her. I’m just sitting here,” Fluff said to Marshmallow.
“Jiggy, jigg, jigg, jigglypuff! [Hi, I’m Marshmallow and this is my friend Fluff! ]”
Shayna tried to make sense of what Marshmallow was saying. Her Charmander translated it for her. “Oh. Well. My name is Shayna. What were you two doing in my room this morning?” Marshmallow looked at Fluff.
“Ahhh... We wanted to meet you. You looked like a nice human. Can we stick around with you and go on adventures?”
“Sure. I love company! Welcome to the group Marshmallow, Fluff.” She extended her hand to pet the adorable Eevee but Fluff smacked her hand away and ducked his head down.
“Fluff! She’s not evil. She just wants to pet you.”
“No! No trainers! No! Not after what I’ve been through.”
  “Awww... Were you abandoned?”
Fluff’s eyes began to water. “I don’t want to talk about it right now.” He started to cry.
“How could anyone abandon such an adorable pokémon like you. Well, I’m not an evil trainer. Can we be friends Fluff?” She reached her hand out to him again. Fluff cowered back but then gave up. She petted his soft fur. Fluff cooed as she ran her hand slowly over him. For the first time since his trainer had left him, he left a special bond to a human.
“Well, I see you two are friends now. Where are we going first, ahhhh, what do we call you?”
  “Oh, my name is Shayna.”

Newfound Friends

Episode 6

Co-Author: Pikachee

Shayna and her newfound friends fluff and marshmallow are continuing down the road. It seemed Charmander is getting jealous of Fluff. Shayna has been petting it all day. “Charmander char.” Charmander said.
“I’m sorry Charmander. I just want to make sure Fluff trusts us. And of course Marshmallow too. I haven’t forgot about you. It must’ve been hard to have been abandoned.” Shayna said.
“Char char.” Charmander said hugging Shayna.
“I’m glad you understand.” Shayna said.
“So... where are we going?” Marshmallow asked.
“Cerulean City. But first we have to pass through Mt. Moon. Hehe perhaps you’ll see a relative.” Shayna said jokingly.
  “Haha. Yeah.” Marshmallow said.
  “Yeah.” Fluff said giggling.
“There it is!” Shayna said as they approached Mt. Moon.
  “It looks dark.” Fluff said.
  “Char char!” Charmander said shivering.
“Zuuuuuu! Bat bat!” all four of them heard.
  “What’s that?” Marshmallow asked.
“It’s a Zubat. I plan to catch one before I leave.” Shayna said.
“Char char!” Charmander said looking at a beautiful gem stuck in the wall.
  “What’s that?” Shayna asked.
  “I believe it’s a moonstone.” Marshmallow said.
“Yeah! I needed one of those. Wait a second there’s a note stuck to it.” Shayna said pulling out the gem and the note. The note read:

Dear Anonymous,
When finding this gem you have found the most powerful stone in the world. A mewtwo has hunted this stone for decades. Using it on Mewtwo evolves it to Mewthree. Givin the chance Mewtwo will take it from you. If you use it on a Pokemon Use it wisely. It works on any Pokemon.
       Signed,
       Mew

“Wow!” Shayna said placing the gem in her hand. “I think I’ll save this.” they walked on forgetting the gem.
“SCREEEEEEEeeeeEEEE!” a scream was heard only by Shayna.
“That sounded like a dog whistle for humans!” she said.
“What? I didn’t here anything.” Fluff said.
“That was a whistle. Shayna’s Pokemon are useless because she can’t control them if we blow this whistle.” a voice said.
“Yes. We are smart.” another said.
“That stone is ours!” Crystal said revealing herself.
“Fluff, Marshmallow can you help me defeat these guys? Charmander will help... Ooow!” Shayna said as they blew the whistle again.

Cerulean Pink?

Episode 7

Co-Author: NinjaMecha

When we last left Marshmallow and Fluff, they had eventually gotten through Mt. Moon, and were wandering the streets of Cerulean City. And now...
“I’m tired Marshmallow. Let’s find a place to eat.”
“But we just ate 2 hours ago.”
“Well I’m still hungry. Beside, that human chased us out of the store before I could finish my snack.”
“All right. Let’s find a bakery.”
“Why not just go to a pokécenter?”
“Are you nuts! If we went there, they would stick us in a kennel and...” Marshmallow stopped suddenly. Her eyes widened. “No, look out!” She leaped in Fluff’s direction pushing him into a bush to the side of the path. The surprised trainer looked puzzled.
Shinji peered into the bushes with curiosity.
“Hmm. A Jigglypuff and an Eevee. Cute...”
Scyther stared at the two pokemon intently. “They are kinda cute...” He picked up the Eevee, who was growling at Shinji.
“Vee!” Fluff screamed, before curling up into a small puffball, feeling safe in another pokemon’s hands, or claws as it was.
Marshmallow cautiously prodded Shinji. “Jiggly?” He slowly bent down, to show he meant no harm.
“It’s ok, I won’t hurt you.” He picked up the small pokemon carefully, petting her small tuft of pink hair. She giggled and bounced up to his shoulder.
“Jiggly Jiggly Jiggly puff!” “Vee, Eevee, vee!” “Puff!!” Her cheeks expanded and turned bright red. Fluff held up his paws apologetically, but remained on Scyther’s shoulder.
Sweatdropping, Shinji continued walking with Scyther right behind. “This is gonna be a long journey.”
Scyther nodded his head, and reached into Shinji’s bag. He pulled out a bag of jellybeans, and offered one to Fluff. The Eevee sniffed one and began to nibble on it.
“This tastes great!” Fluff squealed, and began to devour the entire bag of candy.
Scyther patted the small pokemon on the head, who purred.
“Heh, never figured you one for a cute pet Scyther.” Shinji said, poking his friend in the ribs.
“Look who’s talking.” Scyther shot back.
The foursome continued up the path to Mt. Moon. When they got there however, Shinji made a sharp right turn, and headed into the mountains.
As they headed up a steep hill, a small village appeared in the distance. A short man, with gray hair raced down the path to Shinji.
“Welcome home master Shinji! Rei has been expecting you.”

Alone Again

Episode 8

Co-Author: syke6888

In their last adventure, Marshmallow and Fluff met up with a pokemon trainer named Shinji and his Syther. But now, they seem to be going nowhere...
  “Veeee.....” [ I bored... ]
“Jig, jigglypuff...” [ Me too... ]
Shinji was asleep now. Marshmallow scribbled a note as best she could and Fluff and her went off into the night towards Vermilion City.
“Jiggy jiggy puff puff...” [ Let’s see if there are any other people who will take us exploring. ]
“Veee... Eeeeeveeee!” [ Maybe someone’s got a kind pokemon like that Syther... ]
Marshmallow sweatdroped... “jiggggggg.........” [ Heh... ]
Fluff pretended not to notice. “Veee, veee, veeeeee....” [ So, where are we headed? ]
  “Pufff.” [ I have no clue. ]
They continue walking throught to night.
At this same time, Cajava was entering Vermillion, having come from Maiden’s Peak. She wasn’t sure what had happened at the magic show, but a feeling from the Ben side of her told that it was pretty embarrassing. Oh, well, maybe a Gym Battle in the morning would make her feel better. She was about to head for the Pokécenter when...
  “Puff!”
“Eevee!” The voices immediately brought a smile on her face. Jigglypuffs and Eevees were her two favorite Pokémon. But where did they come from? Since the two Pokémon had no idea of her presence, they chattered on about something she could not guess, since she doesn’t speak Pokémon.
“Aha! There they are! Oh, they’re so cute! I gotta catch’em!” Cajava said to herself as she took out a Pokéball and aimed.
  “Eeeeeveeee!” [I smell a human!]
“Jiggly?” [Where?] The question was answered when Marshmallow felt a spherical object smack her in the head. She turned into energy, and was brought into the ball. 1...2... smash! Marshmallow broke free of the ball, and immediately yelled, “Jiggllyyy!” which roughly translates into, “Run for your life!” The two Pokémon ran as fast as their little legs could go, but still heard the footsteps of the dreaded Trainer.
“Man, they’re fast!” ssid Cajava, still in chase. “Go, Fluke!” The Pidgey appeared. “Gust attack! Now!” Fluke flew fast, and cut off the Jigglypuff. It started flapping its wings, and Marshmallow flew backwards, smacking into Fluff. The two Pokémon landed in a crumpled heap on the street, not too sure which way was up. Cajava smiled, then took a Pokéball and aimed.
  “Jigglypuff, Eevee, you’re mine.”
“VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!” Fluff rose to his feet prepared to defend Marshmallow who seemed to be out of it for the time being. Marshmallow meanwhile, rolled around until she found herself on her feet again. She began sobbing. “VEEE VEEE VEEE!!!” [GO AWAY!!!].
“Humph, I always though Eevees were kind little pokémon, guess not. Anyways, you’ll be a lot nicer once you have a new home. Pokéball GO!” Fluff’s eyes widened as the ball speeded for him. He had to think fast. Marshmallow also thought quickly. She had an idea. Just as the ball was about to hit Fluff, she took out the small flashlight she had stolen from the Officer Jenny in Pewter, and batted away the pokéball.
“JIGGY!!!” [Home run!]. “Jigglypuff, puff, puff!” [And now for the big finish!]. Marshmallow began singing. “Jiiiiiiggggiilllly-puuufffffffffffffff, jiggaaalllllyyyyyyiiiyyyyppuuuuuuffffffffffffff....” Cajava fell to her knees yawning.
“Oh darn... not Sing att........ {snore}.....” She and her pokémon fell asleep on the sidewalk.
“Jiggy jig, puff.” [C’mon Fluff, let’s get out of here before she wakes up.]
“Veee vee eevee!” [Right, the quicker the better!] The two stray pokémon ran away from Cajava as quickly as their little legs could carry them. They ran towards the northern entrance to Vermilion, which had a small grassland and forest.
“Jigglypuff, jig puff...” [We’ll camp here so no trainers can follow us.]
“Veeeeeeeeeee vee vee veeeee...” [I told you all trainers are evil. You wouldn’t listen.]
“Jiggggggggggg....” [I guess you’re right. I’ll never let that happen again. I’ll avenge Sandshrew’s capture some day.]
  “Veee!” [That’s the spirit!]
“Jig...” [But first, we rest!]. Fluff sweatdropped.
  The next morning...
“Excuse me, miss? Wake up. You’re blocking people’s way.”
Cajava woke up, then got up and looked around. Officer Jenny was nearby, looking a little annoyed. As were a small group of people.
“You know, the Pokécenter does allow free room and board, and its a lot more comfortable then the streets.”
“That’s true, Officer, but a Jigglypuff’s Sing attack doesn’t give you much choice where you nap.” Cajava answered. Jenny pondered this, then smiled.
“Next time, bring ear plugs to a Jigglypuff battle.”
Cajava said goodbye, then walked away...into a fountain! One transformation later, Ben got out and used Fluke’s Gust attack to dry himself off. “Arrgh, I hate when that happens.”
Ben then thought about his next destination, but decided he should catch a Ground Pokémon for the battle against Surge. He headed to the northern part of Vermillion and started searching.
At this time, Marshmallow got up, and yawned. Suddenly, she froze. Coming in their direction was another trainer. Remembering what happened last night, Marshmallow stayed perfectly still in the tall grass. As she watched, Fluff got up.
“Eevee vee ee?” [What’s going on?]
  “Jigglypuff.” [Trainer.]
Fluff almost yelled, but Marshmallow covered his mouth in time. The two watched in horror as the trainer rustled out a Sandshrew, then proceeded to use a Seel to weaken and capture it. But what happened next was worse. The trainer proceeded to turn around and walk straight towards them.
Ben was happy at his latest catch. This Sandshrew, when trained, will help him out seriously. Ben continued to walk when he suddenly kicked a Jigglypuff out into the open. “Huh? a Jigglypuff? But they’re only available at Mount Moon. Oh well, I’ll catch it.” Ben took another pokéball, and was going to throw it when he saw the Pokémon’s sad, scared eyes. Ben lowered the Pokéball.
“I can’t do it. it’s just too cute to capture.” At this Marshmallow tilted her head to one side. A trainer that can’t capture a Pokémon? Talk about your lucky breaks. Marshmallow stood up and started talking.
“What? I can’t understand you, puffball. Blob, I choose you!” The Ditto appeared. “Blob, can you tell me what it’s saying?” As Marshmallow talked, Blob told Ben what it was yakking about. After it was done, Ben smiled.
“So your name is Marshmallow? But I don’t see this Fluff character anywhere.” Marshmallow simply pointed to the grass, and Fluff could barely be seen, rolled up in a small ball of fur. Ben laughed.
“C’mon out, little eevee. I won’t catch you.” Fluff unrolled, then quietly walked out. He then closed his eyes, but the expected Pokéball toss never happened.
Ben noticed the creature’s obvious fear, then said, “ Well, I won’t catch you, but why don’t you hang out with me for awhile. You won’t be my Pokémon, but any trainers we run into will think so and leave you alone. Want to?”
Marshmallow was quick to want to trust yet another nice looking trainer. Fluff grabbed her arm and pulled her back. “Veee!!!! Evee veee eeevvvveeeeee!” [What are you doing? Can’t you see? It’s just a trick!]
Ben looked down at Blob. “Ditto! Dittoooo dittooo dittoooooooo...” [The eevee thinks you’re trying to pull a fast one on them.]
“Well... Tell them, I just want to be friends with them. Honest. I’m not going to capture you.” Blob relayed Ben’s message to Marshmallow and Fluff.
  “Jiggly...” [See, he’s nice.]
“Veee... veee, vee, veeeee.” [Wasn’t it you who just last night vowed to never again trust trainers. Not after Sandshrew.] The horrifying images of her first friend’s unfortunate capture flashed before her eyes. Marshmallow shrieked in horror as it played out. She could still remember the pain and fear that first trainer had caused her. But why, even after being abandoned by two other humans, why would she again try her luck on this one.
Blob told Ben what they were saying. “Marshmallow... I’m not an evil trainer. Like I said, I don’t to capture you. I don’t think I need to capture every single pokémon that comes into sight. I want you to be free. I’m just offering you the opportunity to travel with me. Please...” Ben seemed very deeply interested in having Marshmallow follow him. He decided the best approach would be to put his extra pokéballs in his backpack so they weren’t in sight. He reached for one and had Blob explain his intentions.
Fluff naturally was about to rip Ben apart, but stopped upon hearing Blob explain it. Fluff understood and curled back up next to Marshmallow. “Veeeeeeeee...” [Maybe this guy is ok. He did have to opportunity to capture us all this time, and he didn’t even throw a pokéball.]
“Jiggly... puff puff puff!” [Well then, let’s go along with him for a while. Besides, that Ditto of his is kinda good looking...]. Blob sweatdropped.

Marshmallow Vs. Raichu

Episode 9

Co-Author: syke6888

“Jiggy puff puff jiggly?” [OK, now what do we do?]
Marshmallow and Fluff have decided to tag along with Ben and were now wondering what to do next.
“Well, I was going to use this Sandshrew to try and defeat Lt. Surge for my first badge.” replied Ben, using Blob as a medium.
“Jiggy puff jig jiggly? JIGGLY?” [Can I please battle for you? PLEASE?]
Fluff was worried at this sudden question. “eevee vee vee?” [Are you crazy?]
Even Ben was surprised at this question. “You’re just a wild Jigglypuff. Surge’s Raichu would toast you in a second.”
Marshmallow inflated to twice her normal size at this. “Jigglypuffff?” [Just a Jigglypuff?]
“Well, ok, if you really want to, I’ll let you battle. But don’t get angry at me after you lose.”
The small group headed back into Vermillion and as they reached the Gym, a trainer ran out, holding one badly beaten Rattata. Ben shuddered at the thought of what Marshmallow would look like, but the Jigglypuff was still confident of its abilities. Ben entered.
“What do you want?” a gruff teen about Ben’s age said.
“A battle with Lt. Surge.” Ben answered.
“Boss, your 15th victim of the day.”
Ben sweatdropped. 15 in one morning? What kind of monster is this Surge? A giant monster of a man appeared.
“Heh heh. Youse trainers never learn. Okay, Baby, one on one is enough for me. Go Raichu!” A Pokéball flew and hit the ground, then the mouse Pokémon appeared. “Raichu!” Ben sweatdropped again. He knew what these creatures could do, having seen them in action at the Eevee Brothers’ Evolution parties. “Well okay, Marshmallow, go!” The Jigglypuff walked on the battlefield.
Immediately, Lt. Surge, his Raichu and all his students started laughing their heads off. Noone ever sent a Jigglypuff against Surge’s Raichu, and the pathetic look of this one made it even funnier. Finally, they stopped laughing, and the battle began.
  “Veeee...” [What are you doing?]
“Jiggy...” [I’m gonna beat to silly looking mouse over there.]
“Vee... Veee veee eve!” [No, you’re gonna get killed!]
“Jig!” [Be quiet, no one asked you anyway...]
The battle began “Raichu, just use a thunderbolt and finish this match quickly!”
“RAIIIIIIIIIIII-CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU” Marshmallow was completely fried by Raichu’s thunderbolt. She rolled all the way back to Ben. When she got up, she found herself very dizzy from all the electricity. She spun around a few times then toppled over, landing face first on the floor. Ben sighed and picked her up.
“Screw this. I quit.” He left the gym, completely embarrassed by Marshmallow’s performance. “Last time I ever trust a wild pokémon to do a trained pokémon’s job.” Surge and his students laughed even after Ben had left.
“HA! What an idiot. He actually thought an untrained Jigglypuff could beat my Raichu. He’s just luck Raichu didn’t kill the thing...”
“Yeah. What a fool! He must not be a very good trainer if he can’t even catch the pokémon.” They all continued to laugh.
One of the students did an impersonation of Marshmallow falling over. After he finished and began to get up, Surge’s boot met his back. “Shut up you fool. The battle may have been embarrassing to him, but we never embarrass ourselves by imitating others. UNDERSTOOD!”
  “Yeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssss,” he mumbled.
“Now, give me 50. NOW!!!!” The student did as told. Surge went back to his office. “Call me when 16 arrives...”
“What on Goddish’s green Earth possessed you to send a wild Jigglypuff into battle against Lt. Surge’s Raichu?” asked Nurse joy. Ben just shrugged.
“I couldn’t change its mind no matter what I said. So I decided a battle would show it its mistake.” Joy sighed.
“There are some things that can only be learned by experience. You just wait here.” Ben sighed, then looked down at Fluff. The little Eevee was sitting in his lap, worried for marshmallow and scared of all the Trainers in the Pokécenter. Ben petted him a few times, then heard a small sound. Marshmallow waddled into the waiting room, looking a little fried and very sad. “I told you not to fight, so don’t get mad at either of us.” Marshmallow just puffed up. “Jiggly!” [Stupid Raichu!] Ben walked out of the Pokécenter, Eevee and Jigglypuff in tow. “Time for some Sandshrew training.”

Training of the SandShrew

Episode 10

Co-Author: syke6888

“No, Sphere, I said Scratch, not Faint!” Ben was becoming very edgy. The past hour was spent pitting his new Sandshrew against Fluff, and so far Sphere’s win record was absolutely zilch. “Hmmph. Oh well, perhaps a weaker opponent is needed. And no, not you, Marshmallow.” Ben headed out of Vermillion, Fluff and Marshmallow trailing closely behind. A few minutes later, a fellow trainer came up to them. “Excuse me, but would you like a Pokémon battle? One on one.” Ben nodded.
“Sphere, attack!” “Fine, I choose Butterfree! Use Confusion!” A wave of energy hit Sphere, causing the mouse to attack Marshmallow. “Jigglypuff! Jig puff!” “Sphere, shake it off and Scratch that butterfly. Sphere stopped, shook his head, then turned his attention to the real enemy. “Sand shrew!” He leaped through the air, landing on the bug. The Butterfree immediately tried to shake it off, and the ruckus looked like an aerial rodeo. Finally, Sphere smacked it in the back of its head, the leaped off and burrowed into the ground. “Huh? How did that happen? Pokédex, analyze!”
“TM attack number 27: Dig. Pokémon burrows underground, then attacks from behind. Pokémon cannot be harmed while underground. Sandshrew do not learn this attack naturally.” By this time, Sphere leaped out of the ground, landing square on the Butterfree’s head. The bug spun out of control and crashed into a nearby lake. “Butterfree, return! Good match.” The trainer gave Ben some money, then walked off.
“Congratulations, Sphere, but how did you learn that move?” Sphere only shrugged. “Oh well, I guess it’s just luck.” Ben started to walk
  “Eeeee!” [Look out!]
Splash! Ben fell into the lake and when he ... er, she came up as Cajava, she looked at Fluff and Marshmallow, who were unsure whether to look scared or confused.
  “Uhhh.. surprise?”
“VEEEEEEE. EVE EVE EEVEE!!!!” [It’s that evil trainer! RUN!!!] Fluff began running with all his strength, but alas, he was getting too far. Marshmallow sighed finally loosening her grip. Fluff dove straight into the ground.
“Jiggly!” [ We can’t just run from this guy forever. I’ll battle him! ] She walked over to Cajava and slapped him. “Jigglypuff, jiggly, jiggy, jiggly!” [C’mon you, you wanna battle, I’ll give you one!]
“Oh, you’re so cute!” Cajava grabbed Marshmallow and gave the puffball a big hug. “Jiggly....pufff!” [Need .... air!] Finally, Marshmallow freed herself from the “evil trainer.” “puff puff jiggly!” [Well, let’s fight!] Cajava started laughing.
“What do you mean fight? After what Ben promised? I may be a different person, but I respect any promises my other makes. You have nothing to fear, but if you want to battle okay! Sphere! Attack!” The Sandshrew appeared. Marshmallow struck a fighting stance. “Pufff!” [Charge!]
Marshmallow ran, leaped, and was about to pound when Sphere grabbed her out of the air. The Sandshrew immediately started bouncing Marshmallow like a basketball, then slam-dunked her into the hole Sphere made during the earlier battle. Marshmallow rolled through the hole, popped out the other end, and bounced down into the pool. Splash! Marshmallow crawled out, stood up, then immediately fell flat on her face. “Shrewwww!” cried Sphere triumphantly. Cajava went over to marshmallow and gave her a Potion. The Jigglypuff got up, then fell on its butt, looking very sad.
“Hmmm, how do you make a Jigglypuff happy? I know, come out everybody!” Blob and Seymour appeared alongside Sphere. “Ditto?” asked Blob. “Do you think you can listen to Marshmallow sing without falling asleep?” “Ditto!” replied Blob, and nodded his head. The small menagerie of Pokémon, Fluff included, became an audience. Marshmallow, seeing this, brightened up, then a spotlight mysteriously appeared. Marshmallow started singing.
“Jiiiiglllly pufffff, jigllllyyypufff, jiggglyyyypuffff, jigglyyy. Jiggllypufff, jiglyyypuff, jiglyyyyy.” Marshmallow looked up and saw everybody, even Fluff and Cajava, snoozing on the ground. She inflated. “Jigglypuff puff!”

Rematch With Surge

Episode 11

Co-Author: syke6888

“Good going, Sphere, I think you’re ready for Surge now.” said Cajava. Her Sandshrew had gone up a few more levels and now could beat Fluff in battle. Marshmallow pouted, due to her defeat and the crew falling asleep during her song. “C’mon you two, it’s rematch time!” They headed back into Vermillion and entered the Gym. Surge immediately greeted them.
“Welcome to....Vermillion Gym!” He hugged Cajava and held her arms.
“My, you’re a cutie! Don’t expect an easy match, though.”
Cajava pushed him away and took her spot on the arena. Surge did the same.
“For the first of this two on two battle the challenger, Cajava, has chosen Sandshrew. The Gym Leader, Lt. Surge, has chosen Pikachu. No time limit, let the battle begin.”
  “Go Pikachu!” “PIKA!”
“Go Sphere!” “Sandsrewww!” Sphere charged at the mouse, and leaped, spun and crashed into it. The rodent went flying, recovered and launched a Swift attack. Sphere was hit by each and every one of the stars. “Shrew!” “Sphere! Dig attack!”
The Sandshrew disappeared underground, and Pikachu was unsure what to do. “Pikachu, ready a Thunderbolt for when the mouse reappears.” Unfortunately, Sphere appeared right under the Pikachu, smacking it up, up and.. “Pikachu, return! Raichu, Thunderbolt!” Raichu appeared and immediately fried Sphere with Lightning.
“Sphere, return! Blob, appear and Transform!” Blob glowed white, then soon took on the physical characteristics of the giant mouse Pokémon. “Blob now knows Thunderbolt, Body Slam, Thunder Punch and Mega Kick.”
“Blob, Body Slam!” Blob ran, leaped and smashed Raichu, using its body weight as and advantage. Raichu battled back with a Mega kick, which Blob blocked with one of his own. “Raichu, Thunderbolt!” Raichu fired, but Blob’s status made it rather harmless. “Blob, ThunderPunch, Mega Kick, then Body Slam!” Blob immediately hit Raichu with an electric punch, followed it up with a kick, then grabbed it for the Body Slam. When it stood up again, Raichu was finished.
“Unbelievable!” cried Surge. He walked over and handed her the badge. “Congratulations, Cajava, you earned this! and here’s a TM for your troubles.” Cajava accepted her gifts and started to leave. “Marshmallow, Fluff, come on. We’re going to Celadon city!” After she left, something just occurred to Surge.
“Hey, didn’t that Ben fellow have a wild Jigglypuff named Marshmallow following him and his Eevee around? Hmmm.. nah, it couldn’t be.”

On the Road to Celadon

Episode 12

Co-Authors: syke6888 and Roberto

After beating Surge for a ThunderBadge, Cajava is now on her way to Celadon. Walking beside her is Marshmallow, Fluff and . . . another Eevee?
Cajava giggled. “I’ve always wanted an Eevee of my own, and I guess this is as close as I’ll get, eh, Blob?”
“vee,” replied the Eevee in a voice that was definitely Ditto. Suddenly, a black cloud of smoke appeared. “Huh? Who’s out there?” A voice called out.
  “Prepare for trouble!”
  “And make it double!”
“Better make that triple...” A calm female voice interrupts the motto being acted out.
The male nondescript Rocket from the duo who was performing the Team Rocket motto fumes, as he turns around to face the intruder, “How *dare* you cut us...?” When he sees who it is, he gulps, “Uh... hi Minax...”
The female Rocket spazzes, and her knees get wobbly, and she doesn’t face Minax while saying, “M-M-Mi-Minax?! If she’s only half as mean as I’ve heard, she’s still the most evil person I’ve ever heard about! Let’s get outta here NOW!” The nondescript female Rocket grabs her male partner’s hand and drags him away from Cajava and her group.
“Evil?” Minax places her hand up to her mouth and chuckles, “I’m flattered.”
Cajava looks at Minax with an eyebrow slightly raised. The red-haired woman is wearing a form-fitting black top, tight blue jeans, and knee high black leather boots. It doesn’t look like a uniform, “Are you from Team Rocket?”
“If I was from Team Rocket, do you think that those two would have run away?” Minax smirks. She absolutely adores being truthful in her own special dishonest way. No lies were being spoken in her statement.
Cajava places her hand behind her neck, “No, I guess not. It’s pretty impressive how you can scare them away like that.”
Minax politely curtsies, then turns her attention to the ground. Standing at Cajava’s feet are a Jigglypuff and two Eevees. One of the Eevees seems oblivious to its surroundings, and the other is trembling in Minax’s shadow. Marshamallow the Jigglypuff is hiding behind Cajava’s leg. She tells Fluff, the scared Eevee, “”
  Fluff nods at this, “”
“” Marshmallow inflates herself to look more menacing, without much success, and steps forward, showing off how courageous she is!
Minax looks down at the inflated Jigglypuff with a concerned look on her face, then faces Cajava once again, “Is there something wrong with your Jigglypuff? She looks awfully bloated.”
Cajava shrugs, “I dunno. They’re very individualistic. They don’t let me put them in Pokeballs! It’s almost as if a single omnipotent being controls their thoughts and actions on occasion. I always have to wait for them to catch up with me!”
Minax nods half-heartedly, her mind on something else, then looks back down at Marshmallow, “She looks like she wants to attack. I can’t be held accountable for any sort of self defense used if that balloon attacks me, can I?”
“Depends on the self defense, of course, but I’m not going to let you hurt either of them!” Cajava bravely declares.
Minax narrows her eyes at Marshmallow, “I remember you. Did you cry when I killed your parents, little Jigglypuff? I know I didn’t. I laughed... and I sold their skins to the Trojan corporation. Would you like to join them, little one?”
  “” Marshmallow starts growling, “”
Fluff the Eevee shouts out, “”
It’s too late. Marshmallow leaps up into the air, and uses her balloon-like properties to stay afloat while pushing herself towards Minax’s face, to give the tall Rocket the strongest Pound ever! Minax automatically responds by reaching for her long skinning knife, “I always loved popping balloons as a little kid.” Fortunately for Marshmallow, the knife is stuck in Minax’s sheath, thanks to some dried Weedle blood on it. But before Marshmallow can land the furious Pound attack on Minax’s cheek, a baby Chansey leaps out of Minax’s large bag and intercepts, “Chansey! Chan Chan!”
Omelette the Chansey and Marshmallow the Jigglypuff both go tumbling down to the ground. Cajava stares, feeling that she shouldn’t interfere yet since it might hurt Marshmallow’s ego, but is ready to send out Blob if necessary. Marshmallow blinks her large baby blue eyes at the Chansey in front of her, who is only half her size. “Jiggly? Jigglypuff?”
“Chaaaan... SEY!!!” Omelette chirps out. She stands in an awkward battle stance, to show that she’s serious about protecting her surrogate mother, “Chansey Chan Chansssseeeey!” Omelette raises one of her tiny limbs high!
Marshmallow replies by raises one of her own arm-like appendages, “Jiggly... Jigglypuff!”
The two small Pokémon both Pound each other at the same time! Omelette, not used to fighting, curls up into a small light pink ball and rolls up to Minax’s boots.
Minax looks touched by Omelette’s self-less act of fighting for her, picks up the rolled up baby Chansey, and talks to it, “Omelette, you don’t have to do this. Auntie Minax can handle the Jigglypuff on her own.”
Omelette opens herself up, blinks her tiny little eyes, and leaps onto the ground in front of Marshmallow again, “Chansey!” Omelette winds up her tiny fist and smacks Marshmallow with a relatively strong Pound attack! “Chansey!”
“Jig... Jiggly...” Marshmallow’s eyes show dizziness as she collapses next to Fluff.
Omelette claps her little hands making no noise with them, proud of her victory, “Chansey! Chansey!”
“Hip hip hooray. Maybe you’re at level *five* now, Omelette. Well, woop-dee-do.” Minax picks her Chansey up again, and puts her back in the black sack on her belt, “Now stay out of my affairs or else I’ll have a hearty breakfast in the morning.” Minax pauses to think if she’s being sincere or just using her dishonest truthfulness again. She can’t decide.
Fluff the Eevee pokes her fainted Jigglypuff companion with her tiny paw, “Eee? Eevee?”
Cajava looks up at Minax with disbelief, “You didn’t *really* kill that Jigglypuff’s parents, did you?”
Minax simply shrugs, “I wouldn’t know. They all look the same to me.” Minax doesn’t remember if she’s ever killed a Jigglypuff, but her statement is truthful even if she hasn’t. They *do* all look the same to her. Not that it actually matters. Minax isn’t above lying, as shown when she was mocking Marshmallow to get her angry, and she doesn’t pretend to be.
